a pokemon & homebrew machine

GBC is the first console I got to know. My first game for it was Pokemon Yellow and I soon owned all 3 Generation 2 carts. But I have not much expirience with the GB/C library apart from Pokemon.

Although the GBA is my favorite Gameboy, atomic purple is clearly the best Gameboy color ever. I still find the GBC feels most comfortable to hold. The screen mod has better contrast and color than the original screen, but it has no light. It's hard to see in most enviroments, so I make use of a nycho worm light. Dreaming of a modded GBC with funnyplaying screen, but to do it I'd either need to cut into my original shell, or find a reproduction atomic purple shell. I don't like either option, we'll see, if I find a budget for it.

Unfortunately my childhood Gameboy and original carts have been lost, but I do have a Pokemon Gold cart. I play more GB/C homebrew from itch.io than anything else on this platform. :)
